NEW YEAR, NEW YOU!
Wednesday, January 10, 2018
As we begin 2018,
we always have our best intentions at heart. Keeping fit, going on a diet and
dry January are some of the most popular resolutions, especially here at TTM
HQ.
We thought this
would be a great excuse to pick the brains of one of our models and personal
trainers James Garrity. James has worked as a personal trainer for a number of
years and now runs his own business, James Garrity Fitness.
Take a look at some
of James’ top fitness tips:
§ -Do NOT
leave it until the summer! Many people begin training and dieting for their
‘holiday body’ as summer approaches, usually ending up in an even worse
predicament by crash dieting. Start early and feel amazing by the time the
summer gets here.
§ - Find a
well-qualified personal trainer and/or nutritionist that can support you on
what is the best nutrition and exercise plan for your needs.
§ -If you
do go it alone, work out your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE), there are
lots of reliable online easy to use calculators, once you have your daily
recommended calories for your goal stick to your TDEE each day by eating a
healthy balanced diet and your goals will be met in a short period of time.
James has also recommended a delicious and nutritional recipe to share with you all. We know what we will be having for brunch this
weekend!
