... MODELS GET BETTER WITH AGE.

Over the past couple of years we have seen a rise in models in the media over the age of 50 and we have to say, we're so glad that they are being given the recognition they deserve!

Mature Models Making Waves

After years of being ignored by the fashion and advertising industries, we are seeing more and more mature models gracing the catwalks and pages of glossy magazines.

To name a few:

Yasmina Rossi, age 59, for M&S

Joni Mitchell, age 71, for Yves Saint Laurent

Joan Diadon, age 80, for Celine

Charlotte Rampling, age 68 was the face of Nars last year for their SS15 campaign.

Grey is the New Black

According to 2015 research from the Centre for Economic and Business Research, the 'grey pound' of shoppers represents 22 million individuals and the over 50s account for 47% of the UK's consumer spending.

This means there is a real opportunity for brands to engage with 'silver surfers' and the grey pound audience. Obviously one way to start is through models!

Here at Tyne Tees Models...

We like to stay ahead of the game! We have over 100 classic models on our data base. All of whom bring a sense of character and personality to their shoots.

We find that our classic models show great enthusiasm towards all of their bookings and offer an energetic approach to modelling.

After all, youth has no age!
